Flood safety week

The Bihar State Disaster Management Authority (BSDMA) has been accorded the lead role in directing the strategic planning process for disaster response, risk mitigation, preparedness planning and risk reduction. As a part of public awareness strategy and keeping the flood vulnerability of the State, BSDMA has decided to observe state wide 'Flood Safety Week' in the first week of June every year.
