• October 12, 2011: Soft Launching of International Disaster Risk Reduction Day (DRR) Day @ People’s Hall, Provincial Capitol Building, 1:00-5:00 pm
- Participants – Urban Poor Organization - LCSFI, Taysan, Anislag,(Resettlement Site) Daraga, Tabaco, Malilipot, (80 pax)
- Speakers – Representatives from LGU of Legazpi Mr. Pecos Intia and Madam Marlyn Manaya of CSWDO share and discussed DRR best practices and programs of the city.
- Commitment of the City of Legazpi (Mrs. Manaya, head of the city social welfare office & development office) that they will integrate DRR on their programs and projects implementation with corresponding budget next year.
- Ways forward DRR Local and Global Campaign Commitment of Solidarity with the CSOs in partnership with the Local Government.

• October 13: Tree Planting @ Anislag, Resettlement Site
- Tree planting in solidarity with the world advocates of DRR Oct,13, 2011 by the organized youth & community leaders in the resettlement area of the survivors of typhoon Durian in Anislag, Daraga Albay

• October 14, 2011: First Day Preparation and Exposure in their Community Host

• October 15-16: Trained DRR Community leaders from the Bikol Urban Poor Coordinating Council (BUPCC) and COPE staff mentoring community leaders and Barangay (Village) Council representatives from 11 Barangays - communities in Sorsogon City

• October 15 – 16, 2011: DRR Training Workshop
- (SCUPFI) Sorsogon City Urban Poor Federation, Inc.) 11 barangays
- DRR Workshop: Risk Mapping
