5th International Summer School on Disaster Management
Cluj-Napoca
This summer school is a good opportunity for the participants to understand the disaster management system and how this system works at regional, national, European and international level. It is important that students in risk management related fields to have Disaster Management elements in their education. The wider concept, the global, regional and national concept is essential when talking about disaster management.
The summer school involves outdoor activities (2 nights in tents) and you are kindly asked to have proper equipment (boots, warm clothes, raincoats, sleeping bags). The dormitories are 4 beds each (shared bathroom).
The summer school is assigned 4 ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System). The language of the summer school is English.

The participation fee is 400 EUR. For representatives of the partner institutions the fee is 150 EUR (or 700 lei). The participation fee includes summer school materials, accommodation and meals. Transportation costs will be covered by the participants. The online payment link will be uploaded soon.
