On Thursday May 18th, 2023 at 14:00-15:30 BST, 09:00-10:30 EST, the World Bank and the IDF through its Risk Modelling Steering Group will host a joint webinar to support the launch of the report: Flood risk modeling to support risk transfer: Challenges and opportunities in data-scarce contexts. The speakers will review processes and challenges and propose guidance for developing flood risk models and risk monitoring solutions to support disaster risk financing and insurance in data scarce-contexts.
