Swiss crisis mapping

The workshop addresses the emerging phenomenon of crisis mapping with a particular focus on the Swiss context.During the workshop, the participants discussed the latest developments in the field of crisis mapping, performed a crisis mapping exercise, and explored the possibilities for further cross-disciplinary cooperation.  Participation in the workshop was by invitation only, but the organizers remain interested in hearing from like-minded professionals who would like to link up with this community of experts.

The workshop has four main objectives:

1. Bring together and stimulate dialogue among the Crisis Mapping actors in Switzerland
2. Organize and create a possible future event in Switzerland Crisis Map based on a disaster scenario options that have been identified
3. Discuss possible options for action adressing existing organizational, technical and societal challenges
4. Provide further forms of exchange and possibilities for ​​networking and collaboration between stakeholders.
