GHA report 2012
This report addresses the widening gap in unmet financing of humanitarian needs, and stresses that building resilience to shock and disaster risk is of fundamental importance to affected communities and humanitarians in order to achieve millennium development goals and eliminate absolute poverty. Issues addressed include: (i) national governments providing humanitarian assistance within their borders; (ii) poverty, vulnerability, and crisis; (iii) investments in disaster risk reduction; and (iv) investments in governance and security.
