Good practices and lessons learned: disaster risk reduction through schools
This report documents lessons learned from the 'Disaster risk reduction through school' project in Nepal, a multi-country project designed by ActionAid International to reduce people’s vulnerability to natural hazards and to contribute to the implementation of the Hyogo Framework for Action (HFA) by making schools in high-risk areas safer, enabling schools to act as a locus for disaster risk reduction (DRR); and engaging the education sector in the HFA.
