The poorest nations fear that rich countries previous pledges to finance their climate change adaptation would be overlooked at the UN climate change conference, which have started in Bangkok today. The group of 50 countries would like to see a successor to the Kyoto Protocol, and that richer countries pledge financial aid to help them to cope with climate change induced sea level rise.
