Indonesian Red Cross debuts educational games to prepare for disasters

The Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) on Tuesday launched gaming software to educate the public and assist users on safety precautions and recovery methods after disasters such as floods, earthquakes and tsunamis, reports the Jakarta Globe.
In order to develop the software, PMI worked with the American Red Cross, UNESCO and Global Disaster Preparedness Center (GDPC). "Children have the potential to be the change [that our society needs] so [that] our society is always prepared for any disaster," said Arifin M. Hadi from PM.
