This publication aims to support the renewable energy sector by outlining the location of hazards, modelling exposure, identifying mitigation opportunities and explaining the role of insurance in covering residual risk for wind farms. These efforts aim to protect wind farm revenue streams in the face of severe events with insurance payouts and provide the funding to rebuild turbines.
