This progress report presents the climate change adaptation actions undertaken by the Trinity House, the General Lighthouse Authority (GLA) for England, Wales, Channel Islands and Gibraltar. It also records the risks and their impact in 2015, 2025 and 2055.
The actions undertaken for mitigating climate change risk concern the following risks (pp. 10-19):
- sea level rise/flooding;
- erosion;
- increased level of storms;
- rising temperatures/increased demand for summer cooling.
