Seismic hazard maps and zonation for Colombia

This online free viewer allows access to the results of the current official seismic hazard maps for Colombia. The tool also allows the estimation of hazard curves for several spectral ordinates together with uniform hazard spectra for any pair of coordinates within the national territory.

The seismic hazard maps correspond to those developed by the seismic hazard committee of the Colombian Association for Earthquake Engineering (AIS) and considered official and for mandatory use in the earthquake resistant codes for buildings and bridges.

The tool used for the seismic hazard assessment was CRISIS, an open-source and free well-known software which is part of the CAPRA Platform
