To confront environmental problems and the current and potential effects of climate change, the implementation of the National Environmental and Climate Change Strategy is necessary to guarantee the participation of organized people and government institutions in developing conservation and preservation actions for our natural resources. as the practical expression of the principles of the Universal Declaration of the Common Good of the Earth and Humanity that asks us to understand the Earth as alive and subject to dignity.
The National Environmental and Climate Change Strategy is based on Article 60 of the Political Constitution of the Republic of Nicaragua and the principles of the National Development Plan, restoring the population's right to a healthy environment.
