Evolving traditions: an inter-cultural approach to food security, climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction by Miskitu and Mayangna communities in Nicaragua
This case study focuses on the good practices and innovative elements of a project to address food insecurity among two communities vulnerable to natural hazards and the impacts of climate change in north-eastern Nicaragua. It presents: (i) the context of the project; (ii) its background and description; (iii) the good practice; and (iv) the current and future challenges.
