Community-led early warning systems and anticipatory action in Nigeria

This brief highlights Save the Children Nigeria’s Community-Led Early Warning Systems (EWS) and Anticipatory Action approach, which helps communities prepare for and respond to predictable hazards before they escalate into crises. Through a web-based multi-hazard early warning system, predictive analytics, and community-led anticipatory actions, Save the Children works with local volunteers, government partners, and communities to reduce disaster risks and protect vulnerable children and families.
