The World Bank supports Niger’s resilience through the Disaster Risk Management and Urban Development Project. This includes drainage, flood protection, sustainable land and water use, and capacity development in early warning, preparedness, and response.
The World Bank-financed Niger Integrated Urban Development and Multi-Sectoral Resilience project will address the effects of high flood risk and rapid urban growth, with an integrated approach that supports urban development and disaster risk management.
