Climate adaptation investment planning lessons series No. 1 to 3
Drawing on experience from Armenia, Bhutan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Mongolia, and Nepal, these lessons explain how strategic climate diagnostics can identify priority risks; how economic, fiscal, and financial analysis can build the case for investment; and how financial matchmaking can link investment packages with suitable financing sources and instruments.
These lessons also highlight the importance of local knowledge, climate information, and enabling policy and institutional conditions in moving adaptation priorities toward implementation. This series shares practical lessons on how developing member countries can turn climate adaptation priorities into strategic investment packages and bankable project pipelines.
