This resolution outlines Slovenia’s strategic framework for reducing disaster risk and strengthening national resilience from 2024 to 2030.
Slovenia's Voluntary National Report for the Midterm Review of the Implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030 (MTR SF).
The vision of this national framework is to ensure that by 2050, Slovenia will be adapted and resistant to the effects of climate change, taking full advantage of the opportunities for sustainable development.
This report reviews the availability of data in Slovenia, to report against the indicators recommended to measure the global targets of the Sendai Framework, and identify current gaps.
The ninth meeting of the Conference of the Parties will take place on 28-30 November 2016 in Ljubljana, Slovenia and will provide an opportunity to review the work under the Convention and to determine future directions and priorities.
The Program takes into account all hazards, all factors that influence disasters and their prevention, all resources that can be utilized in managing hazards, and Slovenia’s obligations arising from adopted international and regional agreements.
This Act regulates the protection of people, animals, property, cultural heritage and environment against natural and other disasters.

The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
