Mission
Megh Pyne Abhiyan (MPA), literally meaning Cloud Water Campaign, is a Public Charitable Trust, working on issues concerning resilience and adaptability amidst extreme weather conditions, participatory groundwater management, safe and secure drinking water processes and technologies, and hygienic and contextual sanitation management, through collective accountability and action.
The Trust is committed towards behavioural change among the rural and urban communities, to effectively revive, innovate and institutionalize water based engagements. MPA works through a network of grassroots organizations, social development professionals and resource institutions/individuals in Bihar, West Bengal and Jharkhand.

Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
