Mission
The Indo-German Environment Partnership (IGEP) builds on the experiences of the Advisory Services in Environment Management (ASEM) programme, with a strong focus on pilot measures and policy decisions of national level relevance for the enhancement of resource efficiency, reduction of environmental stress, improved service delivery in urban infrastructure services and mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions.
The programme aims to respond to some key challenges identified in the policy framework of the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India.
Voluntary Commitments
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
