Youth in disaster risk reduction and resilience ambassadors

Sofadecca trains youth aged 15-35 years old in communities in DRR and releasing them back to communities as qualified certificate holders in fire fighting and Disaster Risk reduction and Management. Young people learn about the concept of climate change and about hazard mapping within their community. The aim of the training is to enhance public awareness and to break the communication barrier.
