'What if' planning still lacking: Floods expose business risks - Thailand
According to the Bangkok Post, although many individuals and government agencies know more about managing floods than they do about other potential problems, Thai companies are not well prepared for disasters, says a risk expert.
"There has been a growing trend over the last few years of both man-made and natural disasters, so there is now more awareness of these events, but to date, only a small percentage of Thai companies have put in place documented and tested plans," said Andrew Durieux, director of Coverage Ltd.
