Vietnam: Government focuses on natural disasters control

At a workshop in Hanoi on May 27, the deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Dao Xuan Hocof said that the central Government has authorized local administrations to initiate mobilizing and using financial sources for disaster prevention and management.
Vietnam has suffered frequent natural disasters, over 7000 lives have been lost in the past 10 years.
