On the occasion of the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction 2011, the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM) recognises the important role of the youth in disaster risk reduction and commits to implement strategies geared toward the youth and aimed at increasing their involvement in disaster risk reduction, as reported by CDEMA.
