Specialists from Taiwan and Japan called in a forum held in Taipei Tuesday for closer exchanges on disaster prevention issues, reports FocusTaiwan. "The two countries should establish an exchange platform for disaster prevention and should exchange information to observe and predict any possible large-scale disasters," said Chen Liang-chun, director of Taiwan's National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction.
