Survey: Reflecting climate change in national and local DRR strategies

Source(s): United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction

The UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction is conducting a survey to collect main challenges and best practices countries and supporting organisations are facing in integrating climate change considerations in national and local Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) strategies as they progress towards the implementation of Target E of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030 and the Paris Agreement in their 2020 commitments.

Survey responses will contribute to the development of guidance and related training products on how to better foster coherence between climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction through national and local DRR strategies in the broader context of sustainable development.

These can be used by practitioners, UN agencies and organisations supporting countries in climate and disaster risk management and planning efforts and any other interested parties.

Fill the survey before the 17 of November.
