Solomon Islands: EU gives €2.8 million for climate change adaptation

Prime Minister Danny Phillip has signed a €2.8 million ($30m) deal with the European Commission to help build the resilience and adapt to the effects of climate change in Solomon Islands, reports the Solomon Times.

“For the Pacific Islands these changes cause alterations especially on our shorelines and land that impact on our social and economic lifestyles,” said Phillip.
