S Korea: Gov't to introduce training manual against compound disasters

The government is working on a new manual for national disaster training to better cope with multiple natural disasters similar to the March 11 earthquake, tsunami and nuclear accidents in Japan, the home affairs ministry said Wednesday: "the manual will simulate the country being hit by one of the most likely types of compound disasters such as a massive earthquake causing the explosion of nuclear power reactors, disrupting traffic and destroying homes."
