IRIN is a humanitarian news and analysis service that is part of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, but its services are editorially independent.
It produces reports daily on Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Content is produced in English, French and Arabic and the themes include natural disasters, disaster risk reduction, governance, urban risk, early warning, food security, environment, education and gender.
