Philippines: Muntinlupa joins cities in resiliency campaign

'To be resilient involves getting our disaster risk reduction programs at par with world standards so that we can immediately restore normalcy at the soonest possible time when disasters strike,' told Mayor Jaime Fresnedi to Manila Standard Today following a Resilient City Action Planning workshop held by the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UNISDR) at the UN office in Incheon, South Korea. The workshop was part of UNISDR's Making Cities Resilient Campaign.
