New climate action blog on the UN Climate Change website

Source(s): 1.5 Degrees: A Climate Action Blog (UNFCCC)

Dear Climate-L Colleagues,

We are happy to share with you the launch of 1.5 Degrees: A Climate Action Blog! UN Climate Change has started a new and exciting blog, which will highlight climate action being taken around the world.

1.5 Degrees will showcase the work undertaken by the UN Climate Change secretariat and its stakeholders, ultimately aiming to inspire greater climate action. To support the implementation of the Paris Agreement, we will feature stories from actors ranging from football teams and fashion brands to young people, NGOs and cities taking climate action. It will contain stories focused on a variety of topics in multiple formats, from interviews and analysis to videos and profiles.

We hope this platform can become a home for reliable climate action information on the web.

Check it out at unfccc.int/Blog, and help us spread the news on social media: retweet (@unfccc), share our Facebook (@unclimatechange), LinkedIn (@unclimatechange) and Instagram (@unclimatechange) posts announcing the launch of the blog.

Welcome to 1.5 Degrees!
