Indonesia: Govt urged to mitigate impacts of Jakarta floods

According to the Jakarta Post, Public policy observer Andrinov Chaniago has urged the government to mitigate the impacts of major floods which usually occur in Jakarta every five years. "Natural disasters cannot be avoided, but the impacts should be anticipated by the government," he said.
