ICL: Call for 'world centres of excellence' on landslide risk mitigation

The International Programme on Landslide's (IPL) global promotion committee chaired by Salvano Briceno (UN/ISDR) and Kyoji Sassa (ICL) is calling for the application of 'world centres of excellence' on Landslide Risk Mitigation (WCoEs) to be identified at the First World Landslide Forum (WLF) taking place from 18-21 November 2008 in Tokyo, Japan. The application must be submitted to [email protected] by 12 September 2008. The Application form may be downloaded from the website.
