Guardian UK: Lloyd's profits cut by 53% amid insurance claims from natural disasters

The Guardian reports that the world's oldest insurance market said net claims jumped by more than a fifth in the first half of the year and according to analyst Nick Pope there could be worse to come, with the approaching hurricane season in the Gulf of Mexico.
