Fiji climate policy: Coding expenses

Climate policy and measures are costed, prioritised and reflected in the planning and budgeting processes at national and local levels, says Ministry of Finance permanent secretary Filimone Waqabaca, reports the Fiji Times.

Codifying expenditures is one of "the first steps we are taking towards moving the process of codifying the expenditure items that are disaster risk management in nature for climate change", the minister said.
