European disaster response - more efficient, simpler, leaner?

In a report to be discussed on 27 September, Italian EPP member Elisabetta Gardini declares that disaster management needs to be improved through more efficiency in prevention, preparedness, response and recovery according to the European Parliament website. The report also calls for further research to be realized about droughts and forest fires.
