China: Many school buildings 'unsafe'

According to a recent survey carried out by Lu Yongxiang, vice-chairman of the National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee, many primary and middle school buildings have safety problems.

The report states that three out of 16 provinces and eight out of 54 counties, inspected by the legislators, had problems in meeting the education fund's aims.
