Canada: Student goes to UN to advocate for youth engagement in disaster risk reduction

A University of British Columbia student, Salina Dharamsi recently travelled to the UN to participate as one of the two youth representatives, in a multi-stakeholder debate focused on disaster risk reduction (DRR). She spoke about three key ways that youth can be better engaged in DRR.
