Call for applications: ICLEI Action Fund

The ICLEI Action Fund is a granting scheme conducted by ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability with support from Google.org to foster data-driven environmental and climate action at the local level. Non-profit and civil society organisations can now apply to receive up to 1 million EUR each to implement data-driven action to help cities reduce emissions and build resilience to climate change.

The topics include sustainable mobility; sustainable and energy efficient buildings; solar energy development; climate adaptation and resilience; air quality management or projects that fall into the category environmental and climate action.

Deadline to apply: 30 September 2022

Organisations implementing projects in the cities below are eligible to apply:

  • Barcelona, Spain
  • Berlin, Germany
  • Dortmund, Germany
  • Glasgow, United Kingdom
  • Hamburg, Germany
  • Helsinki, Finland  
  • Malmö, Sweden
  • Rome, Italy
  • Rotterdam, The Netherlands
  • Stockholm, Sweden
