Bangladesh: Concerted effort to improve disaster management system underscored

During a workshop held yesterday in Dhaka, participants reviewed the implementation status of the Hyogo Framework for Action (HFA) in Bangladesh and made recommendations for better coordination and strengthening of the monitoring mechanism in the implementation of risk reduction initiatives across the country.
