The ASEAN 'Declaration On Institutionalising the Resilience of ASEAN and Its Communities and People to Disasters and Climate Change' is among three documents set for adoption by ASEAN leaders at the 26th ASEAN Summit on April 26-27 in Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi, reports Bernama.

According to the article, Malaysia's Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman said that the ASEAN declaration underscored the importance of building an ASEAN Community that was resilient to disaster and climate change, viewing resilience as a unifying multifaceted process and outcome.
