11 more Pakistani students graduate from AIT in Bangkok

Ms. Margareta Wahlstrom, Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for Disaster Risk Reduction, delivered the graduation address to another batch of 11 Pakistani students who graduated from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Bangkok, Thailand. According to APP, she put forth a range of ideas on how to make disaster preparedness a priority at all levels and to build resilient places and communities.

The Pakistani graduates belong to diverse disciplines, including those related to disaster risk reduction: Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems, Environmental Engineering and Management, Regional and Rural Development Planning, and Water Engineering and Management.
