With the successful conclusion of WAW! Tokyo 2014 last September, the Government of Japan will once again host "The World Assembly for Women in Tokyo: WAW! Tokyo 2015". This symposium is one of the efforts to achieve 'A Society where Women Shine', one of the priority issues of Abe Administration. With the presence of Prime Minister Abe, it is scheduled to have many leading figures from all over the world in the symposium for lively discussions on various women's issues. This year, one of the special sessions is on the issue of gender and disaster risk reduction.
