We hereby invite you to attend the Kapuscinski Lecture - Portugal 2025, to be held on Tuesday, 3rd June 2025 at 18h WEST (Lisbon time)/19h CET, with online transmission and simultaneous interpretation from Portuguese into English. And local, at the RASL1 Auditorium of the Miguel Torga Higher Institute (ISMT), at Rua Augusta, no. 46, in Coimbra.
The Guest Speaker is H.E. Sônia Guajajara, Minister of Indigenous Peoples of Brazil, on the topic: ‘Social vulnerability, disasters and climate change: women and indigenous peoples’.
The conference will be opened by Luís Marinho, President of the Assembly of the Region of Coimbra and moderated by Noémia Salgado Cunha, Coordinator of the Postgraduate Programme in Investigation and Security against Disasters, Crises and Accidents at ISMT.
Through you, we would also like to invite members of the community that you lead so well, as well as external communities with whom you interact, to take part in the conference. To this end, we would ask you to publicise this event.
