SEEDS India and Humanitarian Aid International (HAI) are organising this event to strengthen the enabling environment for a fruitful engagement of civil society organisations in Government initiatives. The objectives are:

The primary objective of the proposed event is to deliberate and arrive at a roadmap for:

  1. Role of civil society in complementing national initiatives on resilience building in India and South Asia
  2. Localisation of Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (SFDRR)
  3. Evolving a common humanitarian-development architecture

Expected Outcome:

  • Road map for CSO and CSR engagement in risk resilience with clear recommendations to inform NPDRR and GPDRR
