Theme: "Building the capacity of Australia’s professionals to respond to climate change"

After four successful Learning to Adapt seminars from 2010 to 2012, L2A5 kicks off the first in a series of events that will deliver professional development to increase the capacity of professionals to manage climate change adaptation issues.

The morning sessions of L2A5 will include high profile and influential leaders from business and industry giving examples of how their organisations are responding to climate change and sharing lessons learned.

The afternoon will include training sessions developing key skills required to address climate change adaptation. Attendees will select one session to attend over the afternoon and will have the opportunity to attend the other training topics in targeted professional development events to be rolled out over the next 12 months.

Afternoon training sessions will include:

  • Legislative and regulatory framework
  • Climate change impacts
