The Introduction to Disaster Management and Initial Damage Assessment (IDA) training provides civil servants in Fiji with basic knowledge of key disaster management concepts and uses group exercises and activities to provide individuals with the skills and knowledge to conduct simple initial damage assessments following an emergency or disaster.
