How to make disaster risk reduction LGBTI inclusive

In collaboration with the Blue Diamond Society, the U.S. Government’s Disaster Risk Reduction Office is organizing a workshop on“How to Make Disaster Risk Reduction LGBTI-Inclusive”. The goal of the half-day workshop is to bring stakeholders from the LGBTI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex) community and DRR community together to discuss how disaster planning and the provision of humanitarian assistance could be more LGBTI-inclusive. Presentations from NSET-Nepal, USAID, and Red Cross-Nepal are on the agenda. All media are invited to attend the workshop.
