COMPDEC is a new, municipal civil defence authority. It has organised the first simulation in the history of the city.

The goal of this simulation is to evacuate the local school quickly and safely. The 250 children that are involved have been trained to help each other to go outside to a safe meeting point. 

It is the hope of COMPDEC that this event will encourage the mayor of the city and other authorities to endorse the practice, making it a regular event.
