2nd US - China roundtable on climate change policies
In light of the increasing importance of international leadership and cooperation of the U.S. and China on climate change since Copenhagen, the UN Foundation, International Fund for China’s Environment and the National Wildlife Federation initiated a series of roundtables to address key policy issues concerned. This series is intended to provide a platform for informal dialogue among experts and government officials to address specific issues.
In the run-up to the upcoming Tianjin talk in China and the 2010 United Nations climate change conference in Cancun, this second roundtable will address national action plans, the status of adaptation and mitigation efforts and the current stage of the international climate negotiation with regard to committed financial pledges.
